Performance Data Key Stage 2 (Year 6) - Summer 2020
Due to the COVID pandemic, the children in year 2 did not sit their end of Key Stage 1 examinations. As an academy we made professional predictions based upon the following:
- Internal assessments – using PiXL assessments. This enabled us to have a national comparison with other primary schools.
- Quality of work in books Maths, English and all other subjects.
- Internal moderation – including cross-site moderation.
- Home learning – including work shared through portfolios.

Phonics check
Based on professional predictions through regular phonics checks through the academic year, we predicted 81%.
GLD prediction
The GLD is based on the following for the children in reception 2019-2020:
- Close monitoring of the children using the EYFS framework.
- Moderation both internal and external through the Autumn and Spring term.
The professional prediction we have made for 2019-2020 is 81% of children having a ‘Good level of Development’.
