Sports Premium at Emneth Academy

Each year the government provides additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools.

This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.

Schools must spend the additional funding on improving their provision of PE, and have been given some freedom to choose how they do this.

Due to the skill and excellent teaching by our NPECTS qualified, Level 5 PE specialist, Mrs Lynsey Skate and our Level 3 AfPe PE TA, Mrs Keeley Fordham, PE at Emneth Academy is excellent.

We are very proud of our children’s personal development, progress and achievements in PE and sport at Emneth Academy.
